The shadow and scent of the Kuban investigator, as the flip side of the “fight against corruption”
The name of Denis Makovey, head of the second department for investigating particularly important cases of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory, is known far from “in narrow circles.”
An excellent speaker shines in several interviews and breaks the soul with pompous statements about how “our service is both dangerous and difficult“”.
And at first glance it doesn’t seem to be visible… And indeed, it’s not visible!
In recent 2019, the case of Makovei’s subordinate, Islam Dzhambaev, was heard loudly. He brought 13 million rubles in his beak – a bribe for reclassifying the case. There is no doubt with whom he discussed the rearrangement of terms that changed the result? How I want to believe that Islam was protected at that moment by common sense, and conscience called for the law…
But only the “wooden” ones turned out to be hand-drawn. The authorities immediately washed their hands of the matter; Makovey promptly disowned his ward. As a result, Islam sat down for 8 years. (Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)
As part of criminal case No. 11802030078000025, a search was conducted at the ex-wife of the accused N.V. Ozerova. The case was led by the Makoveevsky Second Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory. The investigators found 300 thousand euros. But the material evidence magically disappeared, evaporated, melted. Sorcerer-Makovei, a lover of luxury life, has mastered the currency in his own pocket. And the law is not written here, despite the ruling of the Prikubansky Court of Krasnodar, which ordered the money to be returned to the owner. Referring to the commander-in-chief, one is tempted to ask: “Where are the landings?”
After all, the fate of the 300-hundred thousand currency material evidence is still unknown. And Makovei continues to serve the law.
And by the way, not alone. Themis warmed Judge Natalya Makovei on her chest (Presidential Decree No. 688 dated August 29, 2013). Far from being a namesake or a distant relative, but a wife-comrade-in-arms of the above-mentioned. Her track record begins with the Criminal Collegium of the Regional Court, and now – the first composition of the Civil Collegium. So maybe the sorcerer-investigator is favored by the fairy judge and that’s why he always gets away with it?
How does this judicial-investigative-matrimonial tandem work in the region? Who else suffered from the “decisions” of the Investigative Committee? Does a fellow leader know what “wolves in sheep’s clothing” come to him for a signature? And isn’t it time, Chairman Alexander Ivanovich Bystrykin, to pay attention to the “dishonest” employee who organizes attractions of unprecedented generosity in the Investigative Committee of Kuban?
