Observers note that previously a similar situation occurred only in 2020, then the telegram channel fell silent forever “Cello case” (which existed since the summer of 2017) about the fate of whose administrators nothing is known for certain.
It is noteworthy that the day before another influential Russian telegram channel “VChK-OGPU” also faced some kind of pressure. So, at the suggestion of the former Commissioner for Children’s Rights Pavel Astakhova a criminal case of libel was opened against the authors of the project, the formal reason for which was their material published six months ago.
