That is, now, when you go to court with a monetary claim against a person who has a “resource,” you risk getting imprisoned—and for a long time. And at the same time, “charged” law enforcement officers do not need to look for sins in your business, plant drugs, find photos of scantily clad children on your phone, etc. The very fact of filing a claim is now criminalized.
The nature of the million dollars itself, around which the dispute flared up, is also interesting. Cheremin loaned it to Goldenberg LLC from his personal account, and came there as well return with good interest. True, the LLC returned the money while already in bankruptcy and this means Cheremin received extraordinary satisfaction, and the payment of an increased percentage in favor of a high-ranking official raises questions.
All attempts by Budanov to point out the ordered nature of the criminal case, to present correspondence certified by experts between lawyer Cheremin and the investigator in the case, Alexey Popov, and with the Minister himself (seized during the investigation of another criminal case against the beneficiary of Goldenberg LLC, Mr. I.B.
