VChK-OGPU sources from at least three different district departments of the Moscow Investigative Committee report that the leadership announced this today at a morning meeting. Investigators say that the following was indicated:
1. Drivers of the investigative departments of Moscow work until about spring, then the cars are sent to the parking lot, the drivers are laid off. It is likely that drivers will be left only to management and forensic experts. It is not known how investigators will go to incident sites.
2. Paper and cartridges for investigators have not been purchased since January. This, apparently, falls on the shoulders of the Investigative Committee employees themselves. Part of the investigator’s already small salary will now be spent on providing himself with basic tools for work (paper and cartridges).
3. The total funding of the material and technical department is reduced by almost half, the reason is that finances are redistributed for the construction and repair of educational institutions.
Previously, the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Saratov Region has already reported on reducing the size of the limits on budgetary obligations for material and technical support for 2022.
Then even the regional administration began checking and searching for the source of the leak of this information.
