In recent years, Pan has been detained in Ukraine more than once and each time he has been released, apparently following a call from “above.”
In Russia, they want to talk with Pan on many topics, especially in connection with the investigation into the murder of Ukrainian crime boss Yuri Vasilenko in Moscow. The same one who, according to investigators from Kyiv, organized the murder of ex-State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov in this city.
The sentence for this crime was handed down by three members of the Kursk organized crime group, Alexander Zikeev (seven years), Alexander Soshnikov (Sokhaty, 10 years) and Denis Dolzhenkov (7 years), who carried out the murder of Vasilenko. The person who ordered the crime has not been officially identified. It was Soshnikov who alone took away Vasilenko, bleeding and screaming in pain, and no one saw him again. According to operational information, Sokhaty fed Vasilenko’s body to pigs. Soshnikov was extremely close to the thief in law Pan, the criminal master of the Kursk region, who maintained very close relations with the mafia from Ukraine. In Russia, a version is being considered that it was Pan who ordered the murder of Vasilenko Sokhaty, and that the “order” came to him from Kyiv.
