On April 13, the Lychakivsky District Court of Lvov, on the recommendation of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Office of the Prosecutor General, arrested another 154 objects of movable and immovable property of People’s Deputy of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko.

Among those arrested: 26 cars, 30 plots of land, 23 houses, 32 apartments, 17 parking spaces and a motor yacht.

Shares in the authorized capitals of 25 companies whose beneficial owner is Viktor Medvedchuk or his wife were also seized.

Previously, DBI investigators and prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General had already seized Medvedchuk’s yacht and other real estate through the court.

Let us remind you that the people’s deputy, head of the political council of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, Viktor Medvedchuk, is suspected of high treason and facilitating the activities of a terrorist organization.

On March 18, the investigator judge granted the request of the DBR investigator to select a preventive measure in the manner prescribed by Part 6 of Art. 193 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, that is, in the absence of a defendant. And the Lychakivsky District Court of Lvov chose a preventive measure – detention.

On April 12, 2022, Viktor Medvedchuk was detained by law enforcement officers.
