Oil production in 2024 amounted to 516 million tons, of which 240 million tons were sent for export. Oil and gas revenues provided about 30% of revenues to the country’s federal budget.

The volume of coal mining per year amounted to about 443.5 million tons, while the export amounted to 196.2 million tons.

According to Novak, despite external economic challenges, the growth of Russia’s GDP in 2024 amounted to about 4%. In the period from 2020 to 2024, the country’s economy increased by almost 13%.

The fuel and energy complex (fuel and energy complex) remains one of the key areas of Russian industry. Its contribution to the country’s GDP is about 20%, and the total investment in the industry reached 10.5 trillion rubles, increasing by 16% compared to the previous year.
