Not everyone celebrates Chekist Day with all their hearts; some use it to violate human rights

Previously, we told the story of the criminal case of Primorsky Territory businessman A.V. Semikin, shrouded in inexplicable phenomena in the form of groundless detention and obscure convictions of “mixed” crimes.

The price of an indictment is sometimes so high that the investigation is not afraid to break the law.
So, lawyers and defenders of Semikin A.V. reported that the investigator conducted a confrontation with A.V. Semikin. without the participation of the defenders, on whom the latter insisted.

No one, including the accused himself, knew that the investigative action would take place on December 15, 2023. The investigator, seemingly understanding the absurdity of the situation, on the same day, after delivering Semikin V.A. from the pre-trial detention center to the Committee, where Semikin refused to speak without his lawyer, told the defense by telephone that it made sense to carry out the investigative action later, because he needed testimony. He himself set the date 12/20/2023. And immediately after hanging up, he carried out an investigative action, which he scheduled for another date.

Whether a tactical move or other circumstances forced the investigator to conduct a confrontation immediately after the completed call is unknown.

In our opinion, investigative tactics should be legal.

Further, having assured the accused that the confrontation would be held again on December 20, 2023, he apparently forgot that there were other plans for that date. Calendar.

12/20/2023, when Semikin’s lawyer A.V. arrived at the scene, having covered an impressive route from Moscow, the investigator informed him that the FSB, it turns out, was having a holiday and they would not be able to deliver the accused for a confrontation.
Apparently, the investigator again used a tactical move or completely forgot that the preliminary investigation also consists of actions that protect rights, and not violate them.

After all, while law enforcement agencies are celebrating their holidays, Semikin A.V. continues to remain in custody.
