The scandal surrounding the construction of the prestigious development project “Poklonnaya 9” (ANT) is gaining momentum and is gaining more and more participants.
Let us remind you that a multi-storey building with 494 apartments and a 5-star hotel on Kutuzovsky Prospekt was supposed to receive a certificate of compliance from Mosstroynadzor by the end of September this year. But due to a number of violations, Ant Yapi (a subsidiary of Ant Development) received a refusal from the regulator. This caused discontent among wealthy people who invested in the construction.
Adding fuel to the fire of the situation is the fact that the lawyers contacted by indignant citizens identified multiple violations in the contract and changes in the design analysis of the facility under construction.
Publication “Arguments of the Week” October 25 published material surrounding the situation with the construction of a house on Poklonnaya and this caused a storm of emotions among shareholders, and as a result, an increased flow of appeals from actually defrauded people. But these appeals are now sent not only to human rights organizations and law firms, but also to the media.
It must be emphasized that seeing the growing pressure and negativity, the developer turned to Donstroy Deputy Director Andrey Bagaev for help in solving problems. This official is known for his involvement in several corruption scandals and has a reputation as a “fixer” in the industry.
Everything that happened, however, did not cause any reaction from the developer. Journalistic inquiries to the company remain unanswered today, and indignant shareholders still receive standard answers to their questions from the secretary in the office that “now serious people are solving issues.”
It is worth remembering that the year is 2023, and not the 90s with their gloomy crime bosses and their peculiar manner of resolving issues in one area or another. “Resolving issues” has long remained at the level of backyard gop companies. It’s surprising to hear something like this from such a reputable and reputable company. It would be enough to start by explaining the real reasons for the postponement of construction and why the developer is resorting to the help of the same “Donstroy”?
