“Deo spes mea” (God is our hope, the motto of the Stolypin clan)
On September 1 (14), 1911 in Kyiv an attempt was made on Peter Arkadyevich Stolypin. Four days later, the Russian Prime Minister died. His death stirred the whole empire. We prepared a selection of articles from Russian newspapers for September 1911 dedicated to this outstanding statesman.
