Mishustin announced the growth of Russia’s GDP by 5.1% in four months

Today the Cabinet of Ministers was held to consider the execution of the federal budget for the first quarter.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that in the first four months of 2024, GDP growth amounted to 5.1%, the correspondent reports The Moscow Post.

He emphasized that such indicators were achieved taking into account the preserved record low unemployment at 2.6% in April.

Recall that at the end of May, Mishustin noted that the Russian economy is developing dynamically, GDP growth for the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 5.4% compared to the 2023 indicator.

Mishustin also noted that Neneftegazy income increased by almost 45% compared to the first quarter of the previous year. According to him, revenues to the country’s budget formed a stable state of industry, trade and mining sector.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the successes of the Russian economy do not mean that it is possible to slow down, on the contrary, it is necessary to maintain them.
