Mishustin announced plans to increase labor productivity in Russia

Earlier, the President of the Russian Federation said that increasing labor productivity in the Russian Federation is one of the key tasks.

The head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, said that in 2030 the labor productivity level in Russia should increase by more than 20%, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

He emphasized that it is necessary to apply an integrated approach, not limited only to the implementation of measures within the framework of the federal project. It is important to create conditions for the implementation of advanced technologies in enterprises, innovative solutions, modern equipment and software, as well as the active development of robotic systems in production.

In addition, the head of government noted that enhanced work to improve staff qualifications is required. For this, it is necessary to establish close interaction between federal and regional authorities, business and state corporations.

The prime minister recalled that earlier work in this area was conducted as part of the national project “Labor Production”, in which about seven thousand enterprises took part. Since the beginning of 2024, the implementation of initiatives has passed into the format of the new national project – “Effective and Competitive Economics”.

According to him, by 2030 it is planned to disseminate these initiatives to the entire network of state and municipal institutions of the social sphere, as well as at at least 40% of the country’s average and large enterprises.
