The head of the Ministry of Civil Academy of Sciences Maksut Shadaev said that the agency expects to show the first version of the digital code for regulating the communication sector and IT in mid -2025 and enter the project to the State Duma for discussion until the end of 2025, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
Note that in the fall of 2023 he said that the Code will be represented no earlier than 2026.
Shadaev emphasized that at present there are many regulatory acts in the field of digitalization, but they are fragmented.
He also added that it is necessary to constantly make changes and additions to industry laws.
The head of the Ministry of Civil Academy recalled plans to create an extensive digital Code, which will combine all legislative norms regarding the digitalization, development and use of digital technologies, as well as data protection.
Recall that the creation of a digital code for regulating relations in the field of communication and information and communication technologies has been included in the development strategy of the communication industry until 2035.
