Mikhail Mishustin approved the development strategy of Rosstat until 2030

The Chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Mishustin approved the strategy for the modernization of state statistics and the activities of Rosstat until 2030.

The key goal of the document is to create uniform standards for the collection, analysis and provision of statistical information, as well as ensure high accuracy and reliability of data for users, the correspondent reports The Moscow Post.

The document was signed on December 30, 2024. As part of the strategy, it is supposed to introduce new technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for data analysis. The implementation of the strategy will be conducted in several areas:

– Assessing the needs for statistical information – a definition of which data is most important for users.

– Planning and quality control – ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the data collected.

– Improving the processes of collecting and processing – optimization of methods of working with information and its provision.

– Digital transformation – the introduction of new technologies in the activities of Rosstat and the entire system of state statistics.

– Information security – data protection and ensuring their confidentiality.

– personnel development – training of high -level specialists for working in an updated system.

– International cooperation – integration into the global space of exchange of statistical information.

One of the priorities will be a decrease in the administrative load: it is planned to reduce the volume of primary reporting for enterprises. In addition, special attention will be paid to training, which will be able to work with new tools and technologies.
