During the meeting, the Russian prime minister emphasized that in 2024 the volume of trade between the two states grew by 24%. He noted that this contributed to the implementation of the free trade agreement concluded between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam.

Mishustin also designated Vietnam as a key partner in Russia in Southeast Asia, emphasizing that the governments of both countries successfully implement the agreements reached at the level of senior management.

Recall that the chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will meet with the Vietnamese leadership during his two -day visit to Hanoi on January 14 and 15.
