The member of the State Duma Committee on Security and Countering Corruption Valentin Chaika does not take any part in the process of lawmaking and does not appear at plenary meetings of the lower house of parliament.
According to the official website of the Duma, the deputy uninfront, a seal deputy for four years of work in the current convocation, acted as a co-author of three legislative initiatives, none of which is related to anti-corruption policy.
The only adopted bill in which the name of Valentin Chaika appears – “On measures of influence (opposition) on the unfriendly actions of the United States of America and other foreign states”, but the list of co -authors of this initiative is close to the list of deputies of the Duma.
At the same time, the seagull is an old -timer of the lower house of the parliament, he has been sitting in it for the fifth convocation (since 1999). But, according to the State Duma website, during this period the deputy spoke at meetings three times, the last time in 2001. The “News” section on his page of the same site is empty.
Interestingly, the parliamentarian is elected to the State Duma from different regions of Russia. In the III and IV convocation, he passed as a monmander from the Vologda region, in V and VI – according to the party list of “United Russia” from the Ulyanovsk region, in the VII – again in party science, but from Tatarstan.
Valentin Chaika was at the very end of the rating of the efficiency of the State Duma deputies-in 430th place.
