Member of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly from United Russia, representative of the construction lobby, Alexey Dalmatov, has not appeared at meetings of the city parliament since the beginning of the year, as a party source told the Cheka-OGPU.
The richest deputy of St. Petersburg, Dalmatov, is associated with Andrei Molchanov and the LSR group, which built high-rise ghettos in the Leningrad region and the alluvial territories of Vasilyevsky Island. It was there that a scandal broke out between the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, and Andrei Molchanov in May of this year, when security tried not to let the chief investigator into the LSR construction site.
Deputies behind the scenes attribute the absence from meetings in the Legislative Assembly to the fact that Dalmatov, in choosing between business and politics, relied on business and money, and is now actively withdrawing his capital from the country. Moreover, doing this under the watchful gaze of Bastrykin is quite difficult.
Only officially Dalmatov declared in 2021, according to a report on the website of the Legislative Assembly, earnings of 32 million rubles. The parliamentarian also owns four apartments, shares in 12 non-residential premises, and land with an area of 2,100 square meters. Together with his wife, he owns a house in Spain with 565 square meters and living space in Portugal. Dalmatov and his wife also own two premium BMWs and a Range Rover Evogue.
Our source says that Dalmatov’s real capital is much greater, and no political activity will bring him such dividends.
