Literally not a day goes by without information about the arrests of officials from the Leningrad region. This time, colleagues report the arrest of the acting officer. Director of the St. Petersburg branch of the Federal State Institution “Rosgranstroy” Leonid Lagoda. In the past, he headed the State Public Institution “Office for Ensuring Civil Protection Activities of the Leningrad Region” and now he is suspected of receiving a bribe in this place in an amount exceeding 6 million rubles. It’s funny, but at the end of December last year, Leonid was already detained on suspicion of particularly large-scale fraud committed in this position. Then he went under house arrest, after which, according to the Cheka-OGPU, he sharply changed his earlier testimony and refused to fully cooperate with the investigation. So the new criminal case against Lagoda does not look surprising. Moreover, the interlocutors in the investigation do not exclude the emergence of new criminal cases and episodes in the current ones.
