Aslanyan is known for the fact that after his exile to Sitronics, he began to earn heavily from government orders, which were supplied to him by his fellow workers in the person of Tina Kandelaki and her husband. These are IT solutions for the Olympics (which no one saw) or systems for accounting and checking baggage at airports. Most of all, he managed to make money on a line of high-tech microcircuits, which was opened with fanfare by high-ranking officials, but which never took off. Therefore, if anyone has questions like “why is Russia still just planning to enter the semiconductor market,” Aslanyan knows the answers to them, but keeps them in his pocket.
In parallel with this, it is with the help of Aslanyan that the liberal channel RTVI is being created. In peacetime, they turned a blind eye to this, but now Aslanyan has too many general questions: where is the money, why is foreign agents being financed, and how did it happen that comrades in arms are dropped from the execution lists. The most important question that Aslanyan himself is now asking is whether he will be allowed to travel even in economy class from Vnukovo to Armenia, and is it worth it? And the question is not idle: Aslanyan has already been taken into development by knowledgeable people.
