Judge Marina Musimovich of the Zamoskvoretsky Court made a decision that should please all hangers-on and mistresses who dream of getting married and having a child from a rich daddy in order to get to their inheritance. She simplified the task for all of them to the point of disgrace, recognizing the son of St. Petersburg resident Ekaterina Belova as the heir of billionaire and restaurateur Zurab Alekseevich Lysov, who died in 2021 from cancer. She awarded 16-year-old teenager Andrei Belov, born to a completely different man, compensation in the amount of 536 million rubles, which must be paid by the testator’s own children.

In the case of Musimovich, everything was clear from the very beginning, when through the so-called “carousel” the claim got to her (filing the claim without a signature, returning it to the plaintiff, and so on again until the claim reached the “right” judge in order to deceive the electronic distribution system among judges). As a result, a decision that has not been seen in judicial practice before.

In the process, it turned out: Belova is an able-bodied and employed woman who receives a salary in three companies, has a large fleet of Bentleys, Rolls-Royces and Mercedes, hundreds of millions of rubles in deposits and interest income, four apartments in St. Petersburg , land plots, commercial real estate for rent, 400-meter apartment in Moscow on Krasnaya Presnya for 150 million rubles. And all this wealth was not enough to support a 16-year-old boy? How did Judge Musimovich have to close her eyes so as not to see all this, not to take into account the fact that, in accordance with the Family Code, it is the mother who is obliged to support her son and does not require proof that the child is dependent on her? To make the judge’s decision look more convincing, Belova’s representative, lawyer Lidia Nefedycheva (herself a former magistrate), told the court that Ekaterina pays taxes on her property and for this reason there is not enough money for her son, and when asked about the child’s father, she said that the father there is, but she won’t say who he is.
