Kuban oligarch Oleg Makarevich was put on the wanted list for a series of crimes; references to him were distributed along with a photograph. It is clear that the wanted person would not want his photo published in the media. What is Makarevich doing? He declares all his photos to be “personal data” and demands that the media remove all materials about him along with references. The media are sending Makarevich. But we should not forget that at the level of the Southern Federal District he corrupted everything he could. And now Roskomnadzor in the Southern Federal District is rushing to Makarevich’s aid, sending out letters demanding, as “providing assistance” (by the way, what kind of new form is this “providing assistance”) to remove materials about Makarevich. Know-how for all wanted persons from Russia and Ukraine. Hurry to the RKN in the Southern Federal District and demand that the references to you be removed, as they contain personal data (photo).

What does it mean to “provide assistance to the RKN”? And is it necessary to remove photos of all criminals from the site, since this is personal data?
