It seems that the nationalized Bronka port, which once belonged to the disgraced billionaire Dmitry Mikhalchenko (and in fact to the power generals Evgeny Murov and Nikolai Negodov), has finally begun to fall into the sphere of influence of the head of Rostec Sergei Chemezov. Judging by what our colleagues from Delta.News saw, the state has recently not become the owner of the port, worth billions of dollars. The new owner is not yet visible in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, but management of the asset has been transferred to an unclear Moscow legal entity. In the chain of new managers, both people similar to port managers and obvious nominals are noticeable. In short, the process of transferring the asset began in the best traditions of Rostec – as murky as possible! Let us recall that the creator of the port, Mikhalchenko, has been in the country’s strictest pre-trial detention center, Lefortovo, since 2016 on charges of theft during the construction of FSO facilities. As for the port, the powerful alliance of the Murov-Negodov families faced a decision from the Prosecutor General’s Office that was unexpected in the country’s modern history. Referring to the fact that the funds used for the construction of the port were stolen from the budget, the supervisory agency decided to transfer this strategic object to the ownership of the Federal Property Management Agency.
