It is no secret that Russian law enforcement officers are very selective in choosing the forms and methods of work on the disclosure of crimes depending on the identity of criminals. More than once or two we have heard that certain figures are untouchable for investigators. As it turned out, some of the opposition, of course, are parliamentary.

For example, back in 2012, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Sergei Nikiforov, the son -in -law of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, but it ended in nothing: the episode in his regard was allocated in a separate production, which was actually closed. Nikiforov was accused of organizing a bribe in an especially large scale, associated with extortion, but then he was gradually completely withdrawn from the case. An amazing thing, isn’t it? The accomplice of Nikiforova, who held the position of head of the Office of the Contractual Relations of the Department of Property of the city of Moscow Denis Vasiliev, was sentenced in this case in 2015 as much as 10 years in the colony and a fine of 490 million rubles for extorting a bribe of 233 thousand US dollars. The official, through the mediation of the Deputy General Director of CaramoCenter CJSC Nikiforov and Simonenko, was going to receive these funds for extending the lease of non -residential premises. All negotiations between corrupt officials were neatly documented by the investigation, and after the detention of Simonenko, at the time of receiving the first tranche of a bribe of 100 thousand US dollars, Nikiforov and Vasiliev were also arrested.

But in 2014, Nikiforov’s case stood out in a separate episode, and then was completely suspended due to illness. In 2015, Vasiliev and Simonenko were convicted, but they simply forgot about Nikiforov. Zyuganova, who looks quite healthy, continues to engage in business, earns very decently on state contracts, and forgot to think about past troubles. The Nikiforov-Zyuganov people are quite wealthy, have luxury cars in use and live in a 4-storey suburbs. However, with such a father -in -law as Sergei Nikiforov, as it turns out, he can continue to not be afraid of anything.

The fact that Gennady Zyuganov fully copes with the duties of the “roof” could not only see his son-in-law, but also many single-partyists, for example, Ivan Kazankov, who headed the Republican Committee of the Communist Party in Mari-El.
