The company “Sinara” Dmitry Pumpyansky wants to receive a contract for the supply of 41 trains for the Moscow-St. Petersburg VSM, but this organization does not have its own technologies. The Sinara group of the oligarch Dmitry Pumpyansky is going to supply 41 high-speed electric train for the high-speed railway (VSM) Moscow-St. Petersburg until 2030. There are two news in this plot – good and bad. Let’s start with the good-the VSM is already raised between the two capitals, there is money for it, bad-Sinara does not have a ready-made train for such a project, it still needs to be developed in some way.

And with this, of course, problems. The Finist train, created by Sinara on the basis of the Simenovskaya Swallow, has not yet arranged Russian Railways. The company did not receive state ordering parameters, despite the Russian need for 150 such wagons per year. And this is a very simple project in comparison with what is spelled out in the application for the VSM.

Sinara is now furiously appealing to the contract for a “swallow”, which is a Russian version of the German Desir train, and notes that the quality of the project turned out to be proper thanks to a firm ten -year agreement. The logic of “Sinara” is understandable and obvious – give us a contract for many years, and we will probably collect trains for this money. The company really wants to properly register in this ambitious project.

Sinara does not have a finished project

The last fully executed domestic high-speed train was ER-200, which was going in Riga, it was created in the seventies and eighties and even went between Moscow and Leningrad for a short time. Only these technologies have long been lost, and its ceiling is about 200 km per hour, and 350-400 need, otherwise the second Sapsan will turn out.

There were also projects of EP200 (Kolomensky Plant) and Sokol 250 (Central Design Bureau of MT “Rubin”), but they were not completed and lost the bureaucratic dispute of the Samensovsky “Sapsan”.

In 2018, Russian Railways presented the render of the future high -speed train, but did not say anything about its technical characteristics. Obviously, it was planned to create it on the basis of technologies of Western companies – Alstom, Siemens and Bombardier, each of which in the Russian Federation worked different structures. For example, the cooperation with Alstom was the estate of Transmashholding, Bombardier for civilian projects was associated with Uralvagonzavod, and Siemens worked with Oleg Deripaska and Sinara as Sapsan and Swallow projects.

Sinara does not have its own technologies for such a project, but the company radiates the willingness to build this train and get a long -term contract for hundreds of billions of rubles under this sauce.
