Investigators are getting closer and closer to the founder of the fashion neural network VIJU, Sergei Malafeykin. The source said that recently a case was opened against the management of Euroservice Group of Companies, owned by a millionaire, for tax evasion. The amounts are enormous and exceed the “especially large” level of 45 million rubles. The operatives have already been sent dispatches to find and bring Malofeykin and the company’s chief accountant for questioning.

And yet, for unclear reasons, investigators are cautious and do not yet want to open up a bribery case in which the businessman is directly involved. The Cheka-OGPU has more than once published details of the deal between Malofeykin and employees of the capital’s Federal Tax Service No. 4, how he tried to pay off tax audits for 15 million rubles. There is already a sincere confession from the young inspector of the control and analytical department, Maria Demina, who took the money and was supposed to give it to her “close friend” – the ex-head of the information security department, Aurimas Soldatovas.

Interestingly, on September 19, a criminal case was opened against Soldatovas and Demina for fraud. Allegedly, having promised the owner of Euroservice to resolve issues with inspections for a fee, they simply fooled him – they were not going to help in any way, and they could not. Here they either want to shield the authorities of Federal Tax Service Inspectorate No. 4 (and higher), who have already renounced their subordinates and say that they were not aware of the affairs of this couple. Or this is just another intrigue of a businessman, who can now say that he was misled, and he transferred 15 million only as repayment of taxes. Or he may even deny the fact of the transfer.

In any case, the investigators now have an invoice with which they can at least temporarily rein in the cunning businessman with a “recognizance not to leave.” The Investigative Committee is already unraveling tax evasion schemes that Malafeykin could not have been unaware of. For example, NSK Euroservice LLC used the details of 17 fictitious controlled organizations, divided income into them, thereby reducing the tax burden. The documents were signed by the owner of the group of companies.
