Investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Saratov Region, according to media reports on the commission of illegal actions against four convicts, opened 4 more criminal cases. For two facts, the actions are qualified according to paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 132 of the Criminal Code (sexual violent acts), in two more cases – on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “a” part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of authority committed using violence and the threat of its use).

In addition, 3 more criminal cases of 4 episodes of crimes under Art. 132 of the Criminal Code. According to the investigation, these crimes were committed from January 2020 to May 2021 on the territory of the FCLPU OTB No. 1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Saratov Region in relation to four convicts.

All criminal cases were transferred for a full and comprehensive investigation into the production of investigators of the department for the investigation of especially important cases of the Investigation Department in the Saratov region. Currently, the SK employees are being examined by all the premises of the FCLPU OSB No. 1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Saratov Region, items and documents are seized, which may be important for establishing the truth in the criminal case. Interrogations of convicts and employees of a correctional institution are carried out. A number of necessary forensic examinations were assigned to criminal cases, including subjects seized during investigative actions. All the circumstances of the crimes committed are established, persons involved in them, as well as other possible episodes of criminal activity.
