Local eyewitnesses said that they set up a “roadblock” at the entrance to the village, restricted the usual free grazing of livestock, prohibited taking photographs of the construction and generally taking any interest in what was happening.

In fact, the construction is another business project of Denis Popov, the prosecutor of Khakassia, who by that time had already been appointed to Dagestan, and now heads the Moscow prosecutor’s office, through the company URAP LLC, registered in 2016 in Chernogorsk of the Republic of Khakassia, the founder and general director of which is Popov’s confidant Borodulin Artem Viktorovich.
In 2022, URAP LLC forced the administration of the Idrinsky district to transfer ownership of a plot in the village of Korolevka measuring more than 24,000 sq.m. And only in the Idrinsky and Balakhtinsky districts the prosecutor has tens of thousands of hectares of hunting grounds for shooting deer, musk deer, and brown bear.
