The lawyers of the accused filed a motion to return the case to the prosecutor’s office, and then the investigation, to study and collect additional evidence. The judge paused in the hearing until December 10, 2020 to make a decision on this request. Tsitsulaev himself intends to defend his position to the end. In many ways, the accusations are built on the testimony of the “resolver” of Ruslan Barkovsky, but he himself has not yet appeared. The source said that there is a whole detective story. After the detention in Europe and extradition to Russia, Barkovsky expressed a desire to cooperate with the investigation and conclude a pre -trial agreement. At the same time, he immediately asked for state protection. The fact is that Barkovsky promised not only to testify to Tsitsulaev, but to tell the details, organizer, performers of a series of murders in the metropolitan region, which occurred during the mafia warrior, which was led by the “thief in law” by Rovshan Dzhaniev (Rovshan Liancoransky). Barkovsky assured that he was familiar with Rovshan and knew a lot about him. As a result, he gave appropriate indications, the materials against Barkovsky were allocated into separate production, he is now getting to know them. However, there is one big “but.” During the audit, the testimony of Berkovsky on the murders related to Rovshan was not completely confirmed. Simply put, he invented everything. Therefore, at the stage of approval of the indictment in the prosecutor’s office, Berkovsky’s deal may not be approved with the investigation. Well, most importantly, his testimony in Tsitsulaev also now in doubt.
