Yakov Khachanyan (son-in-law of the millionaire, general director of PSO “Kazan” Ravil Ziganshin) was put on the federal wanted list for committing a particularly serious crime under paragraph “b” of Part 4 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery).
On May 4, 2021, Khachanyan flew from the UAE to Kazan. The police asked him to come with them, then the young man rushed to a Toyota Land Cruiser and jumped into it, the driver stepped on the gas. The policeman grabbed the car door, was dragged 10 meters, and was injured. The driver of the Land Cruiser was detained. But Khachanyan allegedly could not be found then. He “evaporated.”
On December 2, 2021, Khachanyan, who is on the federal wanted list, was interrogated in a criminal case by the senior investigator for the Department of Internal Affairs of the 4th department of the Emergency Department for the ROPD of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Central Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Sazbandyan, but was not detained. He was simply released, no charges were brought.
But Yakov Khachanyan often visits Chechnya, where he is shown on local TV as a successful blogger and businessman.
Let us recall that the Deputy Chairman of the Government and Minister of Agriculture of Chechnya, Yakub Zakriev, the nephew of Ramzan Kadyrov, became the general director of Danone Russia.
