In the Moscow City Court, the jury brought out the reference to two defendants in the case of the murder of criminal authority Vyacheslav Ivankov (Japanchik) in 2009.
The jury collegium unanimously recognized Jambul Dzhanashiy and Murtazi to the guilty of committing an incriminated crime.
As established by the investigation, in April 2009, the former thief in law, Ilya Simonya, “in order to redo the spheres of influence in the criminal community, organized the murder of Ivankov.” To do this, he attracted Kahi Gazzaev, Murtazi Shadania and Dzhambula Dzhanashiy, as well as Nugzara Papava and Astamur Butbu. Having found out that Ivankov is a frequent visitor to the Thai Elephant restaurant on Khoroshevskoye Shosse in Moscow, they chose the most convenient place near him for shooting.
In the summer of 2009, an attempt was made on the Japanese, in the same year he died of the consequences of injury. To date, Gazzaev has been sentenced to 14 years in a maximum security colony. Simonia, Papava and Butba disappeared from the investigation and put on the international wanted list.
