In military courts of the South of Russia, new chairmen are appointed The Higher Qualification Collegium of Judges (VKKS) of Russia at the nearest collegium should decide on the candidates of the chairmen of 11 courts, including 6 military.
The Southern District Military Court (Rostov-on-Don) may be headed by Major of Justice Igor Vasilenko, who was previously deputy chairman. Vasilenko will replace Mikhail Ptitsyna, who headed the largest Mosgorsud in the country last year.
In the case of appointment, Vasilenko will use the fruits of the reform that Ptitsyn spent. Now he is subordinate to 19 garrison military courts in the North Caucasus Federal District, Southern Federal District, as well as in the Russian military units in Armenia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
For 2 of these ships, the collegium will also call the names of the chairmen. One of them is the same: Vladimir Chibizov headed the Krasnodar District Court since 2015, and intends to stay at the post and for a second term.
But Sergey Salov will move to the Krasnodar Territory from the Astrakhan region: he previously headed the Znamensky Military Court, and now he intends to lead the Novocherkassk garrison court.
