In the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, an investigation into a criminal case was completed in relation to former traffic police officers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, Alexander Galkin, Roman and Alexei Dolbeyev, as well as civilians in Alexander Soloviev, Mikhail Kalinin and Dmitry Belov. All of them are accused of committing crimes provided for in paragraph “a” of part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving a bribe). Galkin, Solovyov and Roman Dolbeyev were charged with 7 episodes of crimes, other accomplices – from 2 to 6 episodes.

According to the investigation, in 2012 Galkin and Dolbeevs, acting as part of an organized group together with Solovyov, Kalinin and Belov, for illegal monetary rewards provided the receipt of driver’s certificates on the basis of falsified documents on training in a driving school and without the actual passing of qualification exams for them The right to drive a car. The amount of a bribe for the illegal receipt of a driver’s license was from 20 to 27.5 thousand rubles.
The investigation collected a sufficient evidence base, in connection with what the criminal case was sent to resolve the issue of approving the indictment.

Earlier, the above persons were convicted by the Zamoskvoretsky district court of the city of Moscow for committing similar crimes with the sentence of imprisonment.
