Until 2012, Milovanov was the prosecutor of the Southern Military District, then he resignably left his position and, almost 10 years later, became a modest justice of the peace in the capital. Its appearance in the Moscow Judicial Corps did not cause surprise at sources. Milovanov is a good friend of the current chairman of the Moscow City Court Mikhail Ptitsyn, who previously headed the Southern District Military Court. Surprise causes something else. The prosecutor’s chair Milovanov left under very unpleasant circumstances.
It was decorated, like a veteran of hostilities with all the privileges and allowances that follow from here. The audit showed that the status of a veteran Milovanov, to put it mildly, received undeservedly, a pre -investigation check was launched. Here, a close friend of Milovanov Alexander Savvenkov intervened in the situation, who at different times was both the main military prosecutor and the deputy Minister of the Interior. As a result, a refusal resolution was issued, but I had to leave the prosecutor’s post.
By the way, before becoming a judge Milovanov, the deputy director for the regime of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which is headed by Alexander Savenkov, worked.
