In the Irkutsk region, the saga of pressure on the regional construction company AZGI continues. The local prosecutor’s office has switched to tactics of delaying the consideration of those court cases that were initiated by the prosecutor’s office and in which JSC “Specialized Developer “AZGI” successfully wins process after process.
Obviously, anticipating a disastrous outcome for claims that were absurd in the opinion of lawyers, the applicants have now moved to obstruct the company’s business activities by postponing court hearings, which negatively affects the company’s financing and the normal work of the developer.
On December 7, the Arbitration Court of Cassation is scheduled to consider another complaint from the regional deputy prosecutor, on which the tactics of postponing and delaying the judicial review for far-fetched reasons may again be used, and this in turn prevents the developer from working fully.
According to information from the Cheka-OGPU, lawyer Shota Gorgadze, representing the AZGI company, was supposed to be present at the meeting, but he was forced to miss the court hearing due to an appointment with the President of Russia, V.V. Putin, which will take place at Gorgadze’s within the framework of the meeting of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation.
Maybe it’s time to ask the President a question about what is happening with the largest developer in the region and in whose interests is the delay in trials, which the local prosecutor’s office is advocating?
