Residents of Vsevolozhsk contacted the editors of the VChK-OGPU channel, concerned about the plans of the head of Vsevolozhsk, Andrei Nizovsky, to repeat last year’s attempt – to transfer the budgetary enterprise “Bath and Laundry Plant No. 1” to the management of the family of Alexander Drozdenko. The two-story brick building on Shishkanya Street was built and opened back in the 80s, located in the green park area of Vsevolozhsk among elite cottages and residential complexes. This is an ordinary municipal bathhouse, occupying the first floor, with a ticket price of 300 rubles (discount for pensioners), which not only well-off people like to visit, but ordinary residents of Vsevolozhsk with a low income can afford to come and take a steam bath and wash, especially those with Homes still lack not only hot water, but also gas. Among all the elite splendor of Vsevolozhsk, a significant part is occupied by just such a private residential sector, without water and gas in the houses. For many years since its opening, the second floor of the building was occupied by a laundry serving state budgetary institutions: kindergartens, hospitals and orphanages in the region. But at some point in 2017, the municipal laundry became a Masterpro commercial dry cleaner (TIN 7804611235) with a separate entrance and sign on the doors.
According to interlocutors, the bathhouse was always closed once a year for several weeks for preventative repairs, but last year, after the bathhouse had not opened after a month, information appeared that the municipal bathhouse would be modernized and would open not only in a new format, but prices will be much higher, which makes it inaccessible for most of the residents of Vsevolozhsk. This is only possible when the enterprise is transferred into private hands. All this resulted in general popular indignation, an initiative group was formed, which began to write complaints to all authorities, hold rallies, which were supported by the residents of Vsevolozhsk, and even the surname of the family members of Governor Drozdenko sounded like the initiators of, in fact, a raider seizure of a socially significant object. Popular indignation coincided with elections to the regional parliament of the Leningrad region and to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The head of the Administration Nizovsky and Governor Drozdenko had to retreat from their plans, but the residents of Vsevolozhsk fear another raider seizure of a socially significant facility for them, since a notice appeared on the doors of the bathhouse about the closure of the bathhouse for repairs, and the bathhouse workers sigh deeply that this time it’s all for them -you will have to look for a new job.
