In St. Petersburg, about 715 million rubles will be spent on the purchase of trams

The authorities of St. Petersburg are looking for a contractor for the supply of four three-section trams.

It is known that almost 715 million rubles were allocated for the conclusion of the contract, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports with reference to The Sankt-Peterburg Post.

GUP “GORELCTROTRANS” acts as a customer of new trams. The technical requirements indicate that vehicles must have a service life of at least 30 years. Tram design should include red, black and white.

Low -floor three -section models should be from 27 to 31 meters and have a capacity of at least 190 passengers.

According to the terms of the contract, the contractor is obliged to deliver three tram until November 30 of the current year, and the last of them Gorelektrotrans will receive until December 10.

Earlier it was reported that Gorelektrotrans will allocate 440 million rubles to modernize the Park tram Park in St. Petersburg.
