In September, elections to the Legislative Assembly will be held in the Vladimir region, and the scandal associated with inflated tariffs for waste removal is only gaining momentum. However, in the interests of the owner of Biotechnology LLC A. Sheshenin, who has major connections in law enforcement agencies and regional authorities, the garbage crisis is hushed up, which has an extremely negative impact on the environmental and social situation in the region.

As it turned out, in April of this year, a criminal case was even opened on the fact that Biotekhnologii LLC underpaid Ecograd for services for transporting solid municipal waste.

Thus, as a result of these actions, EcoGrad LLC suffered property damage in the amount of at least 1 million rubles, which, according to paragraph 4 of the note to Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, is recognized as a particularly large amount.

But the police are in no hurry to investigate this case, nor to identify the real culprits. Deputy Governor Maksimov, who is responsible for the “garbage” issues, also does not seek to understand the essence of the issue along with his colleagues from among government officials.

It’s a classic storyline: waste companies make astronomical profits, those in charge remain silent, and taxpayers and the environment bear the brunt. Isn’t it time for Governor Avdeev to directly understand what is happening?
