In response to a deputy request from the Chairman of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Nina Ostanina about the situation with the criminal case against the widow of the famous entrepreneur – coal miner Dmitry Bosov – Katerina – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs General S.N. Lebedev notified the State Duma of the Russian Federation that the main investigative department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region is investigating a criminal case “instituted upon the acquisition of Bosov K.E. by defrauding the right to the share in the authorized capital of a commercial organization that belonged to the deceased Bosov D.B.” At the same time, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation emphasized that “the decision taken on October 11, 2021 to terminate the said criminal case as part of the audit was cancelled.” We are talking about a case initiated against the widow of a businessman Katerina Bosov on September 9 last year under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).

Since the case was handled by the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the lawyers of the heirs of the late businessman Bosov turned to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation V.A. Kolokoltsev with a complaint about the illegal, in their opinion, termination of the criminal case before the expiration of the prescribed period for the preliminary investigation. The arguments in the ministry were heard, justice prevailed, the proceedings in the case were reopened, the investigators were again determined to bring the dashing widow of the entrepreneur back to frequent waters.

The case of Katerina Bosov has been in the news since the “pre-war” time. An enterprising young widow of a successful businessman tried to take over all the assets of the deceased, leaving the businessman’s former family, his children from a previous marriage and his elderly mother with nothing. The attempts did not work out, the court decided not in favor of the widow, and the criminal case of fraud brought against her was supposed to become a cold shower for Katerina and cool her mercantile impulses. But the widow, who had managed to taste the sweet life and had replenished her savings at the expense of her late husband, decided to continue the dangerous and dishonest game, achieving the desired end to the case. However, Katerina was not happy for long. It is noteworthy that after the Moscow region police “got excited” about the widow, she left Russia in advance and without waiting for a preventive measure, but then returned even before her case was carefully and quietly put on the shelf.

In the new situation, when it was decided to resume the investigation, Katerina Bosov, apparently, will have to leave the country again, but for a long time, if not forever. True, it is more difficult to do this today than last year: you will have to fly not immediately to Katerina’s favorite Italy, but through Istanbul, but such a detour is worth freedom. Moreover, law enforcement officers are also investigating the strangeness of the suicide case of Dmitry Bosov, who seemed not to have intended to give up his life, but suddenly decided otherwise, and the mystery of his act needs to be studied, and, possibly, with subsequent prosecutorial response measures.
