27-year-old senior lieutenant Oleg Burnyshev has been serving in the police for almost nine years.
On February 9, the day before the incident, Burnyshev was on daily duty. On February 10 he had a day off, but at about 15:00 on that day he arrived on Sysolskaya Street to conduct a survey of a local resident based on the materials of an inspection about the theft of property – the telegram channel “VChK-OGPU” previously clarified that we were talking about the theft of a TV . The same telegram channel, as well as the press service of the RF Investigative Committee, reported that the police officer interviewed the applicant himself (that is, the man who reported the theft of his TV).
The owner of the apartment was intoxicated, the interlocutor said. 59.RU. — During the interview, the man was aggressive and began to grab the police officer by the clothes. He pushed the man away. Then the owner of the apartment went to the table and took a kitchen knife. He cut a police officer. He threatened to kill and used obscene language.
Burnyshev himself describes what happened next: he hit the man several times on the body and arm and knocked out the knife, after which he calmed down and sat down on the sofa. The policeman went into the next room to the owner’s mother to question her.
After some time, the detective left the room, having finished interviewing the elderly woman, and saw that her son was no longer sitting on the sofa, but was lying unconscious on the floor. The police officer began to provide first aid to the man and called an ambulance. Arriving doctors confirmed the death of the victim. On the same day, Burnyshev was detained.
