Officially, Pavel Parshikov was an employee of the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then he headed various charitable foundations, for example, Consul. However, he was always known as the “right hand” and most trusted person of Viktor Zolotov. When Zolotov headed the Presidential Security Service, Parshikov became close friends with other prominent security guards, in particular Alexei Dyumin.
Such proximity brought Parshikov not only enormous funds, but also big problems. At one time, the 6th Internal Security Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation, under the leadership of Ivan Tkachev, was aimed at collecting incriminating evidence on Viktor Zolotov. Actually, for this reason, a high-profile case of smuggling was started in 2006, in which the Minister of Internal Affairs of Buryatia, Viktor Syusyura and Pavel Parshikov, were taken into custody. It was the latter that was the main object of development of the “six”. In the pre-trial detention center, they demanded that Parshikov testify against Zolotov, piling him up with new criminal cases and charges. He didn’t say a word, he did his time. When I came out, I spent a year improving my health and practicing boxing. When Parshikov came to his senses a year later, Zolotov again returned him to active work.
The second time the sixth service tried to detain Parshikov, when the “fixer” Andrei Volontir came under their control. At one time he interacted with Parshkov and they tried to send him to Beard with a “suitcase” of money. The target was Zolotov again.
Despite his great physical strength, Parshikov always moved accompanied by a large number of guards. He could resolve any issues, although not through the FSB of the Russian Federation. There was always a “chill” in relations with this service.
According to the official version, Parshikov died due to a blood clot breaking loose after suffering from coronavirus.
