One of those who testified about the role of Elena Plato in the landromate was the banker Peter Chuvilin. We give an excerpt from his testimony:
“The essence of the“ Moldavian scheme ”was, as far as I know, in the transfer of people who planned to withdraw them abroad, under the guise of buying a currency at the request of the Moldavian Bank, in the account of the Moldindconbank SA accounts to the accounts“ Armed Forces ”.
These operations were led by Plato Elena, the whole scheme was led by V.G. Plakhotnyuk and Plato V.N., customers (Russian bankers and people who applied for this service), Plato V.N. and Korkin A.G., and the bankers listed above participating in these transactions. After the funds were credited in the currency to the accounts of “BC Moldindconbank SA”, they were transferred to Plato E.N. To the accounts of foreign companies under the guise of debiting on court decisions of the Moldova courts. Platon Vyacheslav himself told me about this scheme, as well as other familiar bankers, including the number listed above.
I am familiar with Plato Elena personally, we were introduced to her brother Vyacheslav at one of the general meetings in Moldova. Vyacheslav told me that it is Elena that led by all the payments of Russian banks in the Moldindconbank SA. Galkin Alexander confirmed this information to me, saying that he was contacted directly with Elena for each payment and she conducted them. Platon Vyacheslav always mentioned his sister as the head of all Moldavian operations at meetings with Russian bankers and entrepreneurs and handed them her contacts for communication. ”
