In Karachay-Cherkessia, social activists again began to raise the issue of the murder of KCR Parliament member Islam Krymshamkhalov, and Karachay organizations asked law enforcement agencies to investigate it. Firstly, the closest relatives of those accused and suspected of murder sit in the power structures of the region. Secondly, the customer named by the relatives of the murdered man, Eldar Salpagarov, heads the Bolshoi Stavropol Canal (delegated by Rosselkhozbank), and before that he headed the administration of the head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The sister of the performer Alimagomed Gochiyaev, who is on the international wanted list, works in the press service of the head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

Earlier, the brother of the murdered man, Magomed Krymshamkhalov, made a video appeal to the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, with a request to put an end to the investigation of the murder committed in 2009 and to punish the perpetrators. The murder was political, as stated by the then leaders of the KCR and relatives of the deputy.

The accused Alimagomed Gochiyaev was put on the international wanted list, Timur Tulparov is also on the international wanted list, Murat Bostanov is hiding in Turkey. Magomed Krymshamkhalov named the former head of the Karachay district Dahir Elkanov as the organizer; he was allowed to escape immediately after interrogation. The customer was named by the brother of Islam Krymshamkhalov as the ex-head of the presidential administration of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the current director of the Great Stavropol Canal, Eldar Salpagarov.

Why did the performers and organizer manage to escape? The lack of any reaction is again attributed to the past connections of the Arashukov clan with high-ranking people in law enforcement agencies.

Despite the recent appeal from Magomed Krymshamkhalov, in which he states that all the names of those involved in the murder are known, the investigation is not moving forward. The inaction may be due to the fact that Eldar Salpagarov still has connections with some officials in the Investigative Committee. At the very least, it is obvious that someone there continues to slow down the investigation. The relatives of the murdered man are concerned that the information has not been communicated to Alexander Bastrykin himself, since he always reacts harshly to such requests and often takes personal control.
