The head of the temporary detention facility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Lagutkin, is being checked for abuse of official powers. The inspection materials were transferred to the regional Investigative Directorate on April 11.
The history of suspicions and checks against Lieutenant Colonel Lagutkin is closely intertwined with another employee of the temporary detention center – warrant officer Kamilla Polyakova. The girl works in the detention center as a senior police officer. As follows from the inspection material, Kamila, instead of performing her direct official duties, was engaged in cooking in the temporary detention center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. To put it simply, she was a thief. She fed not only the boss, but also other employees of the institution. The inspection documents especially emphasize that Lieutenant Colonel Lagutkin patronized the girl in this matter.
But the violations do not end there – the policewoman, after cooking, left the temporary detention facility much earlier than her working day was over. All this time she worked as a sugaring master, the audit materials say. And she illegally received a salary from the police.
Now both the head of the temporary detention facility and his subordinate may be subject to criminal charges.
