In the Interdistrict Inspectorate No. 5 for the Stavropol Territory, from where almost the entire top leadership of the Federal Tax Service, headed by Chief Afonina, came, there is again a corruption scandal.

As it became known to the Cheka-OGPU, last Friday, March 10, 2023, the head of the general department of Interdistrict Inspectorate No. 5 for the Stavropol Territory, V.I. Rubanov, was detained for corruption by employees of the FSB and employees of the Investigative Committee. Procedural actions are currently being carried out against Rubanov aimed at securing evidence of his illegal actions.

This is not the first time that this inspectorate has appeared in reports on corruption and is famous for its personnel “Afonina’s proteges.” What can we say about previous scandals – the former boss of Kinzhibalova, who attacked the Moscow Central Department Store for 2 million rubles in one-time purchases of expensive brands, who is related to Afonina – the former head of the department of office inspections of Bulgakov, detained on suspicion of taking a bribe, the former head of the inspection and the head of the office department Nitsenko and Tereshchenko, arrested for bribery and abuse of power. And this is only a small part of the octopus that has shrouded the tax authorities. And here we go again…
