To Tbilisi, of course, in this regard, questions arise. Russia is the second largest trading partner in Georgia, the trade turnover of the two countries in the first half of 2021 amounted to almost half a billion dollars ($ 476.2 million). The country is actively visited by Russian tourists.
Well, since Tbilisi is not sorry for all this, let it be so. The emergence of representatives of Georgia, by and large, does not cause much surprise.
Georgia relatively long shows a pro -American tendency, periodically participating in NATO exercises.
But the appearance at the Armenia summit, to put it mildly, is strange. This is a frankly unfriendly step towards Russia.
It is also indicative that Turkey – the US ally of NATO – did not receive an invitation to the event, and the Russian ally in the CSTO – Armenia – is among a limited number of countries whose name was personally approved by Biden.
All this, especially against the backdrop of recent shouts in Yerevan, “On the Until Russia”, sounding from the lips of the pro -Western forces of Armenia, raises questions.
The participation of the official Yerevan at the Summit of Americans indirectly emphasizes that the cries against Moscow in front of the Russian Embassy have the approval of the Armenia authorities.
It is time for Russia to stop believing empty words about friendship and looking at the real actions of a “friend”. And they are very unfriendly, these actions.
