The O3 group of companies under the leadership of Grigory Shifrin, which owes contractors and the tax authorities more than a billion rubles, was chosen as a striking example.
Thus, one of the Skolkovo resident group companies, O3-Coatings LLC, has been fulfilling obligations in 60 court cases for a total amount of 150 million rubles since 2018. Ten more cases totaling 26 million rubles. are under review.
Another company from Shifrin’s group is O3 Engineering JSC, which currently has 78 court cases in which it is the defendant for a total amount of almost 708 million rubles. and is already in bankruptcy.
The attention of law enforcement officers may first of all be drawn to the history of contract work of JSC O3 Engineering at the Amur Gas Processing Plant owned by Gazprom, after which a large fire occurred at the plant, destroying the production line in October 2021.
The reason given was the depressurization of the pipes through which raw materials were supplied to the plant. Some experts suggested that one of the factors that led to the accident could have been the thermal insulation of the pipeline, or rather the lack of it, which worsened the strength characteristics of gas communications.
At the same time, the main contractor of Gazprom, LLC Velesstroy, previously filed a claim to recover from its subcontractor JSC O3 Engineering a penalty of more than 99 million rubles. due to the fact that the latter actually disrupted the work on thermal insulation of gas pipes at the facility under construction, which should have been fully completed by December 15, 2020. The actual volume of work completed was less than 10%. At the same time, no legal entities from the O3 group of companies compensated the state, represented by Gazprom, for the damage caused, and the office was simply bankrupt.
Apparently, Shifrin no longer intends to feel sorry for Shifrin who encroached on the “sacred” and will merge it with a demonstrative “flogging”.
