The investigation launched into this incident made it possible to identify the visitors. They turned out to be two employees of the SOBR of the Russian Guard, including the senior detective for the internal affairs department, Dmitry Dmitrievich Sakharov. The invoice on them was transferred to the CSB of the Russian Guard, where the materials were buried.
According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, Sakharov is the closest confidant of the deputy commander of the Central District of the National Guard, General Vyacheslav Pytkov. That is why Dmitry was not brought to criminal charges, or indeed to any other responsibility, but on the contrary, he was awarded the state award “For the Protection of Public Order” and appointed to a higher position – deputy head of the department.
It’s no secret that the laws in Russia are “whatever,” but how did Pytkov manage to solve the problem with representatives of Chechnya, because they were held accountable for even less.
Pytkov himself speaks about it this way: “I dialed whoever needed it and closed this issue.” And who helped him in such a sensitive issue?
