Municipal deputy Ilya Yashin, arrested on charges of disseminating deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, was placed after the court hearing in the temporary detention center at Petrovka, 38, in a three-person cell, but was kept there alone.

“Yashin said that he was taken to the temporary detention center today, July 13, early in the morning, at about 2 a.m. and placed in a cell with two neighbors, one of them is accused of terrorism, the other of drug trafficking, but after the court hearing, suppression in the form of detention, he is kept alone.
Ilya told us that in the morning he was not given the full amount of hygiene supplies, he called the food normal, he was given porridge for breakfast in the morning, there were no conflicts with his cellmates. It is worth noting that recently the food in the capital’s temporary detention centers and special detention centers is of really good quality. After returning from court, Yashin was given the opportunity to take a shower.
In the cells of temporary detention centers, unlike pre-trial detention centers, there are neither walkers nor televisions. Yashin will spend no more than 10 days in the temporary detention center, after which he will be transferred to a pre-trial detention center,” Melnikov said.
