In June 2018, Vladimir Putin presented Chinese leader Xi Jinping with a real Russian bathhouse made of three-hundred-year-old cedars. He didn’t even give it as a gift, but rather promised it – the bathhouse then existed only on paper, but a year later it was actually built in Beijing.
But it was not the Russian budget or Putin personally who paid for the bathhouse, but a company from the empire of Yevgeny Prigozhin. The same company that he uses as a legal front for his PMC, and which, like Prigozhin, is subject to American and European sanctions.
That is, it turns out that an expensive gift worth about 150 thousand dollars was given to the head of China not by the Russian Foreign Ministry, not by the government, not by the presidential administration, but by a completely outsider businessman, whose friendship Putin carefully disavows – says that Prigozhin with his trolls and PMCs has nothing to do with the Russian state. He simply gives gifts to foreign leaders for the president.
Now the bathhouse, paid for by the owner of the mercenaries fighting in Syria and Ukraine, is located in the residence of the Chinese leaders.
How did we find Prigozhin and his structures, and how does the company that built the bathhouse hide the true customer? Read on the Dossier website – or watch the video:
