How to deceive the president

In the city of Usolye Sibirskoye, Irkutsk Region, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, work is underway to eliminate the accumulated harm on the territory of the former chemical giant – the Usolye Chemical Industry enterprise. Deputy Prime Minister Abramchenko supervises the work. Funds have been allocated for this from the federal budget. The chemical industry waste must be eliminated by Rosatom or, more precisely, its subsidiary Federal Environmental Operator Rosatom (FEO).

In May of this year, the FEO reported on the work done. 17 railway tanks with chemicals were repacked. The oil lens moving towards the bed of the Angara River was stopped. The danger from brine wells has been eliminated. A brine field is a series of wells from which brine is extracted.

Usolye Siberian stands on a huge layer of salt. Brine was the main raw material for the chemical industry, as sodium and chlorine were obtained from it. After the enterprise was stopped, 18 thousand tons of chemical waste were pumped into the well cavity. The wells are located a kilometer from the Angara. The well mouths were filled with concrete. This is how the danger was eliminated. The President was informed that the danger had been eliminated. The tanks are overfilled, the oil is stopped, the wells are safe.

But there is a big BUT.

On the territory of the chemical industry there used to be plant number 3 of organosilicon. They produced silicon tetrachloride, trichlorosilane, silicon-based paints and much more. In the 90s, the plant separated and became Siberian Silicone. In the 2000s, Chubais decided to create an enterprise based on Siberian silicone. The buildings were rebuilt and equipment was installed, but the plant did not work for a day. 34 billion rubles went to waste. Workshop 94 was part of the Siberian Silicone Plant and today it houses reactors with chemicals. There are approximately 30 of them. Some are under pressure as indicated by built-in pressure gauges. These reactors were not taken into account for repacking and subsequent disposal. Today, 3.7 billion rubles have been allocated for the demolition of buildings. And work has begun. The governor lifted the state of emergency. Everyone is silent about reactors. The mayor of the city tried to apply for funds, but he was told that the President was informed that the work was completed and there would be no money. By the way, Deputy Prime Minister Abramchenko instructed the mayor to conduct an audit of all premises at the chemical industry site. What is this ? It is negligence to not take into account such a number of reactors or it was done intentionally. One thing that is not clear is how, who and at what cost will free the reactors from chemical waste and where it will go. Those 17 tanks pumped RCBZ. The President of the Russian Federation, we note once again, was informed that the danger had been eliminated.
